My Battle With Painful Ovarian Cysts
My battle with painful Ovarian Cysts started since I was in my twenties. Every month two weeks before my period, I would start getting the dull pain. I would try my best to ignore it, dismissing it as menstrual cramps, but the pain would get worse until ignoring it became impossible. The pain was on my lower back and almost down to my legs.
I visit a number of doctors who told me that my ultrasound results showed that I had ovarian cyst that was fairly big. But no one could really help me solve my problem to get rid of my painful ovarian cyst.
The pain continued and I was taking all kinds of pain relievers and non steroidal inflammatory drugs. For sure, every month, two weeks before my menstrual period I would feel extreme pain and nausea and sometimes the pain was draining and exhausting, making it difficult for me to work.
The doctors tried me on many prescription drugs including birth control pills but they didn’t improve my situation. In fact, the cyst got even bigger. It seems a fact that over 90% of those who treat their painful ovarian cyst with drugs end up worse than when they started!
